This is why I never liked Huckabee
During the last election, I had several conversations with people who just loved Huckabee, I always said I never trusted him, and one of the main reasons why is because he granted clemency to this dirtbag. He put politics above the safety of the people, and that makes him just like all the rest of them in Washington.

S. 1796 HEALTH CARE BILL
To provide affordable, quality health care for all Americans and reduce
the growth in health care spending, and for other purposes.
Here it is if you want to read it. I find reading backwards helps.
Crap Sandwich all 1504 pages.
I find this interesting. Does this mean that government bureaucrats are going to be even more involved in research study? Oh I just can't wait. It's already hard enough getting new drugs out to market, the process for drug trials already takes so long, now we get to have more government involvement. That should speed things up. Because we all know how quickly the government gets things done.
‘‘(B) ESTABLISHING RESEARCH PROJECT
AGENDA.—
‘‘(i) IN GENERAL.—The Institute shall establish and update a research project agenda for comparative clinical effectiveness research to address the priorities identified under subparagraph (A), taking into consideration the types of such research that might address each priority and the relative value (determined based on the cost of conducting such research compared to the potential usefulness of the
information produced by such research) associated with the different types of research, . and such other factors as the Institute determines appropriate.
and on pg 1134
•S 1796 PCS
1 ‘‘(ii) CONSIDERATION OF NEED TO
2 CONDUCT A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW.—
3In establishing and updating the research
4 project agenda under clause (i),
the Institute shall consider the need to conduct a
6 systematic review of existing research before
providing for the conduct of new research under paragraph (2)(A).

Michelle Malkin has a great write up on who got what for their vote. These people need to lose their jobs. Everyone in Congress needs to be reminded that they are working for us.
